2023 Grammys: Beyoncé breaks report for many wins ever

Beyoncé has damaged the report for many lifetime Grammy wins with 32.

With her victories tonight for dance/digital music recording, conventional R&B efficiency, greatest R&B track and dance/digital music album, Beyonce surpassed the late classical conductor Georg Solti, who gained 31 Grammys.

She entered the evening with 28 Grammy awards, tied with producer and musician Quincy Jones. She’s probably the most nominated artist on the sixty fifth Grammy Awards, with 9 complete, and is tied for probably the most lifetime nominations, 88, together with her husband, Jay-Z.

On the all-time Grammy chief board, she now tops Solti, Jones, Alison Krauss and Chick Corea (27 wins every) and composer Pierre Boulez (26).

Bey’s profession triumph got here within the wake of her 2022 album “Renaissance,” which dipped into ’90s dance music, ’70s disco, trendy digital music and traditional R&B in a virtuosic, sprawling ode to Black queer membership tradition.

“Renaissance” is nominated for album of the yr, and lead single “Break My Soul” is up for for track and report of the yr.

This week, Beyoncé introduced dates for her “Renaissance” stadium tour, which hits Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium on Sept. 2-3.
