Ashton Kutcher Explains Awkward Reese Witherspoon Red Carpet Photos

Ashton Kutcher is in a difficult state of affairs.

The actor is making headlines for some very awkward purple carpet images together with his “Your Place Or Mine” co-star Reese Witherspoon. The two, busy selling their new Netflix film, seem to actually hate one another within the latest footage.

Kutcher set the document straight on the images ― and his emotions about his co-star ― in a forthcoming look on the Barstool Sports present “Chicks in the Office.”

In a teaser clip of the interview, set for launch on Wednesday, Kutcher defined why he and Witherspoon look so uncomfortable standing subsequent to one another.

“My wife called me. She texted Reese and I together and said, ‘Guys, you gotta act like you like each other,’” he mentioned, rolling his eyes on the thought of the images getting the meme remedy.

“Here’s the thing,” Kutcher mentioned.

“If I put my arm around her and was like all friendly with her, I’d be having an affair with her. Like, the rumor would be that I’m having an affair with her,” he mentioned.

But, “If I stand next to her and put my hands in my pockets ― so there’s no chance that like that could be the rumor ― the rumor is we don’t like each other.”

Which he mentioned couldn’t be farther from the reality.

“Reese and I are really good friends, we’re really close,” he continued. “I don’t have to defend that.”

The former “Punk’d” co-creator added one final protection of the images, and talked in regards to the chaos that comes together with posing earlier than a horde of photographers on a purple carpet.

“If you’re gonna tell me in that entire 20-minute period, at one point you’re not gonna have an awkward face on, then you’re better than I am, and I’m cool with that,” he mentioned.
