Super Bowl 2023: What time does the sport begin? Who is enjoying?

Carl Cheffers, an NFL official since 2000, would be the referee for Super Bowl LVII. The Whittier native has refereed two Super Bowls, the primary in 2017 when Tom Brady and the New England Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons in additional time of Super Bowl LI. His final Super Bowl project was in 2021 when the Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs.

Cheffers, 62, and his crews ranked No. 1 within the league for penalties referred to as in the course of the 2022 common season, averaging 14.4 flags per sport, in line with Profootballreference.com. During Super Bowl LV, Cheffers drew the ire of many Chiefs followers for eight first-half penalties towards Kansas City. The Chiefs misplaced 95 yards within the sport due to penalties — a Super Bowl report.
